The project
Creating a defined inspection space within an existing facility.
This £5k project at Cambridge Research Park involved forming a dedicated inspection room using British Gypsum materials. The new enclosure was built within the existing open workspace and left at the plasterboard stage.
The scope
- Set out the inspection-room footprint within the existing space
- Install metal framing for the new enclosure
- Form the doorway and internal observation openings
- Fix plasterboard to the completed framework
- Leave the room with a plasterboard finish
Materials
British Gypsum materials were used for the inspection-room partition package.
The result
The new room was clearly formed within the research facility, with the doorway and observation openings incorporated into the boarded partition walls.
