The project

A complete bathroom transformation with concealed services.

The existing shower room was refurbished with a bespoke combination of contemporary sanitaryware, underfloor heating and contrasting wall and floor finishes. The installation was coordinated around concealed plumbing and a wall-hung layout.

The scope

  • Strip out the existing bathroom fittings and prepare the room for refurbishment
  • Prepare wall linings and service connections for the new sanitaryware
  • Install a wall-hung WC with concealed cistern and flush plate
  • Fit an electric underfloor heating mat and prepare the floor with levelling compound
  • Install a wall-hung vanity unit with integrated basin
  • Fit a glazed shower enclosure, shower tray and chrome-finish shower fittings
  • Install an illuminated mirrored cabinet
  • Complete the grey wall finishes and multicoloured hexagonal floor design
  • Finish the junctions and make good around the new fittings

The result

The refurbished room pairs a restrained grey wall finish with a colourful floor, while the wall-hung vanity and WC keep the floor line open. Concealed cistern and service detailing give the sanitaryware a clean appearance, with electric underfloor heating beneath the finished floor.
