The project
Making good throughout the property.
This Norwich project brought together low-level rising damp remedial works and the repairs needed to reinstate the affected areas. The photographs follow the wall-repair sequence across several rooms and a cupboard, from removal of the lower linings to boarding, joint finishing and decoration.
What the work included
- Low-level rising damp remedial works across the property
- Removal of affected low-level wall linings
- Replacement wall boards to the opened-up areas
- Joint filling and preparation for decoration
- Making good around retained fittings and adjoining finishes
- Skirting reinstatement and decorative finishing
- Remedial repairs to rooms and cupboard areas
- Protection of retained flooring during the works
The result
The opened-up areas were reinstated with new wall boards, prepared and redecorated to blend with the surrounding rooms. The photographs show the completed wall finishes alongside the earlier repair stages.
