The project

Creating a new internal separation within the property.

This Westminster project involved building a new internal partition using CLS timber studs and FireLine plasterboard, together with the installation of an FD30S fire door. The new wall was then finished to integrate cleanly with the surrounding interior.

The scope

  • Set out the new internal partition and door opening
  • Construct the framework using CLS timber studs
  • Fix FireLine plasterboard to the completed framework
  • Install the FD30S fire door within the new opening
  • Finish the partition surfaces, trims and surrounding details

Materials

CLS timber studs, FireLine plasterboard and an FD30S fire door were used for the installation.

The result

The completed partition sits neatly within the existing room, with a smooth decorated finish and the new door installed as part of the finished layout.
